Limon Restaurant, Mission District, San Francisco

I never judge a place just because of the previous reviews and reports I read. With a couple of friends, I went to try Limon on Valencia Street, in the Mission District for Sunday brunch. Despite some mixed feelings I had upon previous readings, once I was there, it felt totally different. Seafood ceviche was incredibly fresh, lemony and refreshing. I ordered the Latin bouillabaisse (a type of seafood stew) and it was very delicious. I haven't tried my friends' dishes, but described as it was great. Service could be faster and more attentive, but overall the experience exceeded my expectations. It was interesting to try a Latin brunch, inspired in Central and South American cuisines and ingredients.
